Each kilowatt of power generated by a wind turbine reduces the CO₂ by 1kg and 0.25 litres of diesel. A 20kW solution contributes to the environment each year by preventing the production of approximately 75 tonnes of CO₂ and 15,000 litres of diesel fuel.

When compared to current electricity tariffs within regional areas a 20kW solution would save approximately $15,000 per year in electricity bills and given that most regional towns operate on diesel and/or gas it would also prevent the production of approximately 75 tonnes of CO₂ and 15,000 litres of diesel fuel.
